Together we will- Online Media Association Uganda (OMAU)

Owners of different online media agencies have come together under the umbrella OMAU to change media trends in Uganda. Online Media Association Uganda (OMAU), a combination of 15 news, entertainment and PR websites in Uganda has vowed to digitalise Uganda and set a new trend.

While meeting the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Frank Tumwebaze at his office, the members made a presentation on the role of online media, and relevancy to the development of a country like Uganda. More to that they presented the challenges they face as online agencies and together with The Minister discussed a way toward.

The minister gladly welcomed the association and promised a close co-operation to disseminate public information for the benefit of marketing Uganda beyond boarders. He will said with the world going digital, there is no better time than this to welcome such a group of innovators to contribute to national development.
