Shartsi Kutesa inspects ongoing road works in Sembabule

Mawogola North County MP Hon. Shartsi Kutesa Musherure has today inspected ongoing Kikoma- Kawanga- Kawanda road works.

The road project is part of the UGX 1 Billion government road grant for districts.

Hon. Shartsi said the new road will connect Mawogola North to the rest of the world, aiding transportation of agriculture products, livestock, goods, and services for the area people, subsequently improving the lives of the people in the area.

In the related development, Hon. Shartis was at Kisozi together with leaders from Sembabule and Gomba.

They joined President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to appraise the progress of the poverty alleviation campaign in their area.

The president has supported the program since 2011.

Over 5 villages in Mawogola North have benefited from this initiative and were ably represented by their local council leaders, district woman MP and constituency MP.

“We shall heed to the president’s call, and aggressively sensitize our people to embrace Government programs,” Hon. Shartsi Kutesa said.
