The head of Government Citizen Interaction Centre (GCIC) Morrison Rwakakamba has thrown in the towel, we can confirm. Morrison who has been the head of Ministry of ICT based new information centre has quit his job today.
According to a letter seen by this website and addressed to President Yoweri Museveni, Rwakakamba has also quit his job as Special Presidential Assistant (Research and Information). He said he has made a decision to rejoin non-state sector and focus on agricultural production, public policy inquiry and international public interest consulting.

The Minister for ICT and National Guidance Hon Frank Tumwebaze has thanked Rwakakamba for the time he served the country and wished him well in his new adventure. “Thank you Morrison Rwakakamba for your time to serve your country. Working directly with you over the years, found you a reliable capable brain. All the best,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
