Rukiga District Woman MP excited to be on Twitter

Rukiga District Woman MP Hon. Caroline Kamusiime Muhwezi has finally seen light on Twitter.

The legislator in 10th Parliament has joined social media platform Twitter for the first time. She joined a day ago.

“My 1st day on Twitter. I am happy to be here and looking forward to interacting, sharing ideas and learning from you all. Together, we shall achieve more,” her first tweet read.

She went on to urge the general public to follow presidential directives and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health in a bid to fight against COVID-19 caused by coronavirus.

“In an effort to fight the COVIDー19 pandemic, I also encourage all of us to follow the guidelines issued by Ministry of Health and H.E Kaguta Museveni directives. Let’s keep washing our hands and stay home to stay safe,” she tweeted.
