Ruhakana Rugunda commissions new NWSC offices

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda Rt. Hon Ruhakana Rugunda on Friday commissioned the new National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Head office at Plot 3 Nakasero (Opposite Rwenzori Towers).

The Chief Guest also launched the New NWSC Corporate plan July 2018- June 2021.

The Corporate plan will focus on improved customer service, Increase in water and sewerage services coverage across the country, Performance management systems, Development of Inhouse Prepaid water metering systems, in country assembly of water meters, Manufacturing of briquettes as a substitute for firewood for cooking and subsequently reduce deforestation, Environmental Protection, From the Current 240 towns of operation, NWSC plans to serve over 400 towns, improved customer connect sessions (CSR) and among many others.
