Prime suspect in the kidnap & murder of Susan Magara extradited from South Africa

The prime suspect in the kidnap and gruesome murder of former Bwendero Dairy Farm Cashier, Susan Magara, has been extradited from South Africa. 
Police spokesman Fred Enanga has confirmed that Patrick Kasaija Agaba aka Pato arrived in the country today afternoon. He is currently in Police custody at SID Kireka.
“It’s true Patrick Kasaija alias Pato, arrived this afternoon upon being extradited from South Africa. He is in police custody at SID Kireka, and has been granted access to his lawyer.  Arrangements to interview him and also investigate his defence in the alleged murder of Susan Magara are in place. Immediately after the case file will be forwarded to the office of the DPP for perusal and probable sanctioning. Thank you,” Fred Enanga said.

BACKGROUND 

Susan was kidnapped on February 7  2018 and her car found abandoned at their gate with all her phones. Her killers then contacted the family and demanded $1m dollars (about sh3.65b) before they could release her. After three weeks, her body was recovered dumped on the Southern Bypass and during her requiem mass, the family revealed that her killers had chopped off her fingers and sent them together with a recording of the incident to the family. The family paid a ransom of $200,000 (UGX 700m) in the hope that Magara would be released but only  to receive lifeless body.
