Last night, it was pomp and glamour as Uganda celebrated the ladies and gentlemen who have shown promise, determination and perseverance in their pursuit for sports excellence in the past year at Imperial Royale Hotel.

The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Frank Tumwebaze hailed the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) awards for the impact they are bringing among sports personalities. He also praised the media for telling the stories of great talents in this nation.

“Happy to attend this evening and grace as Guest of honour on behalf of Hon Mama Janet Kataaha Museveni the #NSUSPAGala19 organised by Uganda sports press association (#USPA) . Great to meet and see faces of young talents like Jushua Kiptegei and others that keep our flag high in the various sporting disciplines.
