The State Minister for Education and Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang has lectured students of Nkumba University on patriotism.
The minister said, it is through Patriotism training that his way of thinking changed.
The Minister was speaking to student leaders undergoing a two-week Patriotism training program at Nkumba University yesterday.
He said through patriotism, they will make it on top without a doubt.
In related development, the same Minister paid a visit to Mandela National Stadium Namboole to witness the process of “stitching” the main pitch.
“Stitching” creates a hybrid pitch that is more resilient to weather, wear and tear, much easier to maintain, and gives better ball bounce.
This is in the readiness for the forthcoming CHAN tournament.
