New Audio “Corruption Anthem” by Jenneth Prischa Out

After months of silence and hustling with school Northern Uganda female artist and co-founder of Rockstar Edutainment Jenneth Prischa has finally released one of her latest hit song “Corruption Anthem” that points out at deliberate acts that have resulted into stagnation of the countries growth.

“It takes huge courage to sing about human right related issues and facts in a country like Uganda where majority of artist in the forefront of music are simply focused on making money to survive thereby avoiding serious issues,” Prischa said.

Adding that with such categorization, even the most critical voices like the current one on OTT/social media tax can be silence at a cost living the greater majority in dilemma.

According to Prischa, whereas a number of musicians are in support of OTT/Social media tax the vast majority inspired by singer Bobi Wine, the Ghetto President, Apass and the like are hesitant to contribute even a single penny from their heard earned cash for fear that it will go in the same trench of great projects like NAADS, GAVI, NUFAD and PRDP established on good cause but funds got miserably swindled by people in the same system.

She further emphasized that paying OTT/Social media tax would not be an issue only if it was designed for a rightful cause like giving a booth to the crippled education and health sector but then one wonders, how Ugandans will be convinced to contribute when they actually doubt the system given the above-mentioned scenarios?
