Mtaani Foundation reaches out to Ghetto Youths in Kisenyi

In a bid to restore hope among the ghetto youths, Mtaani Foundation has reached out to ghetto youths in Kisenyi I, Kampala City.
Members of Mtaani Foundation led by Ronald, a former ghetto youth cooked, served and shared lunch with the youth.
They also donated food items like beans, posho, sugar, clothes, shoes and many others.
The items will be shared among the members of the ghetto kids.
The foundation’s mission is to  restore hope among the ghetto youths and they do this once every after 4 months.
Because street children are prone to so many injuries given the nature of the life they live on the streets which comes with stigmatization as well as inability to pay for medical services, street children have no access to medical care.
With this, Mtaani Foundation was also able to have a medical personnel treat many wounded street children during the outreach in Kisenyi.
The foundation also came with barbers who trimmed their hair.
Ronald whose at some stage of his life was a ghetto hustler is now an advocate for the better life of such disadvantaged group of people.
Showbiz Uganda team was happy to join Mtaani Foundation in the day’s activities.
