Rukiga County in Rukiga District Member of Parliament Hon. Roland Bish Ndyomugyenyi, has commended President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s leadership for fostering development through Economic empowerment, peace and stability. He said this during a meeting with Local Council 1.
The meeting was aimed at preparing for the President’s visit to monitor the Parish Development Model (PDM). Hon. Bish emphasized the pressing challenges facing Rukiga, including stopping wetland usage, addressing electricity issues, and constructing a district main hall and hospital.
On a positive note, he acknowledged achievements such as impressive student performance, well-maintained roads, and the completed district administration block. Hon. Bish’s dedication to community development, social justice, and economic growth has earned him recognition and the nickname “The Fixer”. He is coming back in 2026 to seek for a second term.
