Miss Uganda to host three-day master class in make-up artistry at Serena
Latest info reaching our desk has it that former Miss Uganda Olga Nampima is set to come to Kampala and host a 3-day Master class in make-up to be held at the Kampala Serena hotel in March.
The 1992 Miss Uganda who is based in the UK is set to trade mark in Uganda. She will host makeup artistry workshops for three days at Shs 300k at Kampala Serena Hotel. The workshop will be worth to people’s value for money.
Farid Jemba, who happens to be Olga’s manager, stated that this 3 day seminar will be full of fun and inspiration. For those in the industry looking to brush up on their skills, Saloon owners, Make-up enthusiasts etc this is your chance.

Word reaching our desk has it that Olga Nampima is also planning on opening up an Elite Academy for make-up Artistry in Kampala.
Olga Nampima has worked in the beauty industry in the UK for many years, her journey stretches back to college with an early exposure to visual Arts as she spent hours on end rendering portraits in graphite and later in oil stick and also studied SFX (special effects) for Tv and film at London college of Fashion.
Olga states the drawings were important to her for two reasons. Through them, she mastered shading techniques and sharpened an eye-hand that helped cement her fascination with the human face and its visual possibilities.
Olga claims every face is a canvas to her and she quickly adapts the skills which ignited her true love for fashion and beauty. She also grew up in fashionable London and was always captivated about ‘looks and trends’. Olga is equipped with an experience of more than 10 years in the cosmetic industry. Olga has also worked behind the scenes of some great photo shoots, music videos and many others.
About the workshop
The Makeup Transformation Workshop (MTW) is a full makeup demonstration class w/Q&A that will focus on techniques, tips and tricks that will translate into more polished/impactful work in the worlds of beauty, fashion, editorial and celebrity. Some of the topics that will be covered:
