Ministry of Health officials inspect Mosquito Nets distribution teams ahead of Wave 2

Officials from the Ministry of Health have today inspected teams preparing for Nets distribution in Kiboga that will start this Sunday.
The team was led by Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Diana Atwine and Director General Health Services Dr. Henry Mwebesa.
“With DG Dr. Henry Mwebesa, we met with the teams preparing for nets distribution in Kiboga district, that will start this sunday. We also did support supervision in Kiboga hospital and Bukomero HC4. These visits come with more informed decisions than office reports,” Dr. Diana Atwine said.
The officials also had the opportunity to interact with district and sub county teams in Kiboga district who are taking part in Wave 2 of the Mosquito Net distribution exercise. 28 districts in western Uganda will be receiving free Government mosquito nets this weekend.
“Together with our Permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine, we visited Kiboga Hospital and Bukomero HC IV as part of our routine support supervision visits. These visits inform appropriate decisions and actions.  I commend our health workers for doing a good job to the communities,” Dr. Henry Mwebesa tweeted after the visit.
