A Ugandan by the name of Mgugu Abey wants Ivan Ssemwanga’s body exhumed and the currencies buried with him be removed from the grave.
Abey has sued A ‘Plus Funeral Management Company Limited and the Bank of Uganda.
In a suit that we saw, Abey wants all the currencies of Uganda Shillings, South African Rands and United States Dollars and/or currency that was put/place in the grave and buried along with the late Ivan Ssemwanga’s be removed by ordering the respondents to exhume the said late; for purposes of respecting currency of Uganda and other countries.
Abey wants the currencies back into circulation and has accused the Bank of Uganda and A ‘Plus Funeral Service for negligently failing to ensure respect of monetary currency of Uganda and other countries.
