Meet the new Dancehall king & Fashion Designer, Digital Wizard

Digital Wizard, real name Samanya Abas is a fresh talent on the Ugandan music scene doing Dancehall music.

He is gifted songwriter and musician doing mostly Afro-beat, Dancehall, and Zouk signed under Rain Muzik Group International.

Showbiz Uganda had good fortune of connecting with Digital Wizard and below is the full interview:

Hi Digital , we would ove to hear what makes you happy.

Making music, performing , people appreciating my work , Designing people . spending time with my friends and family , traveling and spreading happiness and positive messages through music .Why because music ,my friends and family are important to me,and I like trying to focus on positive.

What keeps you busy professionally ?

I am Fashion Designer / Song writer/ Artist .

From an early age loved making music and playing piano.

What makes you different musically?

I love experimenting and fusing different styles to come up with unique music,and I love musicality in songs ,I think if the music is good with a great Melody and beat ,it is very appealing.

Music is hard some times to make a living from but you have to keep going until you hit the right audience.

What are you inspirations?

Kanye west, Wizkid,Jose Chameleon ,Bobi Wine ,Burna Boy among others.

My tips for anyone who feels passionately that they want to do music as career is to keep trying , don’t let the knock backs make you give up ,be original and get good management ,and also stay grounded ,and remember where you came from.
