Lil Pazo on why UCC ban of vulgar music is the biggest mistake in Music Industry

Singer Lil Pazo Lunabe has revealed reasons why the ban of vulgar music by Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is the biggest mistake in the music industry.

He said that it is clear that Ugandan musicians are the poorest compared to other countries and their artistes.

Lil Pazo has been in the music industry for over five years. He has tried different types of music and this year he finally found the kind of music that connects him more with his fans and also makes for him money.

He was unfortunate that this month UNCC and UCC decides to ban his music especially Nkudi song that has been making for him money. Him and Gravity Omutujju’s music will not be allowed to play on any media house or even performed publicly.

According to Lil Pazo, when he tried singing educational music he was left poor and no one was booking him for shows yet the other musicians with vulgar music were even invite in schools to perform.

The singer said this ban is going to leave all Ugandan musicians very poor.

“The biggest mistake UCC has done is to ban our music from media. Artistes are going to die poor because there is no copyright law and no one is going to book someone without a hot song,” Lil Pazo said.
