Kida Kudz releases ‘Ball Till We Fall’ alongside Bella Shmurda, also announcing Top Memba Mixtape out 9th July 2021

Today, the Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter hailing from London via Lagos and back Kida Kudz returns to share “Ball Till We Fall”, a irresistibly euphoric Bella Shmurda assisted late night dance floor jam rich with house and dancehall textures about working hard, and never giving up.

The new single follows his powerful first solo release of 2021 ‘Animalistic’ that explored incarceration over a ‘AFRO JIGGY’ beat that was widely supported by Highsnobiety, Complex, Dummy, Notion, CLASH, DJ Target and more.

Kida’s latest offering “
Ball Till We Fall” comes with the announcement of his sophomore mixtape TOP MEMBA due for release July 9th. Aptly and affectionately named after Kida’s fans to whom this mixtape is dedicated to, this highly anticipated 10-tracker was written in the afterglow of the birth of his first son at his home in London, making this his most intent and personal body of work to date.

Also dropping alongside the mixtape news and single today is a vibrant and trippy video that cleverly treads on fantasy and reality as we see Kida Kudz performing through the view of a VR headset.

Speaking on “Ball Till We Fall”, Kida says, “I had always been into Bella Shmurda’s music… I tweeted a couple of his lyrics, hit him up and told him that we need to make music! If I’m into someone’s sound, before friendship or anything I want to make music, that’s the higher force. It took me a while to send the beat over because I wanted to find the perfect song for this collaboration and then it happened. The song is really driven from cultural energy and is about how hard we work to make it and how we are never going to give up until we have no energy left, we will ball till we fall!
