The inaugural Kickstart programme which focuses on youth entrepreneurs, starts airing yesterday night on NTV. The show sets out to identify young Ugandans with genius entrepreneurship ideas that can enrich themselves and transform society.
“We are looking for Uganda’s Bill Gates so you can expect drama as tensions rise, tears of joy, loss and suspense as participants peach their business ideas for USD20,000,” says Onapito Ekomoloit, the Corporate Affairs Director of Nile Breweries.
“One contender out of the 20 finalists will be crowned winner although the prize might be spread out to other projects depending on the financial investment needs.”
The highly anticipated show will be aired in eight episodes every Monday at 7:30am.
“Get ready for new but extraordinary faces in Uganda, unique challenges and all the cutthroat competition from the yet to-be ultimate big business showdown in Uganda,” Onapito adds.
