Defeated Kawempe North By Election Independent candidate Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has confirmed that she will drag Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja to court for defaming her name and candidature during the just concluded Kawempe North MP seat by Election.
Karadi alleges that Hon. Robinah Nabbanja initiated the rumours that she had quit the race in favour of NRM Candidate Faridah Nambi on the last day of campaigns.
While appearing on a talk show at Radio 4 recently, Hajjat Hanifah says the fake propaganda confused her supporters and caused disruption thereby ending up losing. Karadi says the rumors caused her to lose a lot of confusion among her voters with most of them not voting or supporting NUP candidate Nalukoola.
Hajjat Hanifah Karadi who is set to contest again in 2026 for the same post has instructed her lawyers to take legal action against the actions of Hon. Nabbanja. Watch the Space!!!!
