Kagiira Farm in Ibanda has signed a partnership with Marianne Foundation to empower selected women groups through effective small household enterprises.
As a result of this partnership, members of women groups are currently undergoing training in Mushroom growing at Kagiira Farm located along Ibanda -Kamwenge Road at 95km from Mbarara.
Kagiira Farm will provide sustainable market to all their production.
The partnership will see over 500 women in groups benefit from this value chain in enterprise that fit each individuals’ circumstances.
Other enterprises may include poultry production , high value vegetables growing etc. SDG 1′ #SDG3, #Sdg5, #SDG17.
