Ivan Ssemwanga buried with ‘100m’, wine, whiskey and champagne

Fallen showbiz star and tycoon Ivan Ssemwanga who died of stroke last week in South Africa was last evening laid to rest at his ancestral home in Kayunga. The deceased’s burial was graced by top city personalities from all walks of life.

As a sign of love and respect, friends raised over 100m both in UGX, US dollars and South African Rands plus bottles of champagne and popped into his grave, wine and whiskey pressed them inside the grave before his casket was dropped there.

As someone who loved partying and splashing money around, it was a befitting way of sending he would have loved if he had a chance to speak before his demise.

Unconfirmed reports say the money was totaling to UGX 1.5m while others say UGX 15m others say UGX 70m while others also say it was UGX 100M.

They have hired 4 policemen for a period of 4 months to protect the grave from money hungry thugs who may break into it to pick the money and alcohol.
