Insider reveals Hon. Nambozo’s Strategic Move in NRM Elections: Queen of Propaganda

Hon. Florence Nambozo

Sharp, a close personal assistant of Hon. Nambozo Florence recently disclosed loosely to his friends, at a local hangout in Mbale, that Hon Nambozo’s current bid for the NRM Chairperson position is part of a larger, strategic plan.

According to the insider, Hon. Nambozo has no genuine intention of winning the district’s NRM Chairperson elections. Instead, this move is designed to serve as a bargaining chip for a larger political ambition.

The source claims that Hon. Nambozo, known for her adept use of political manipulation, plans to leverage a potential loss in these elections as a means to secure a more significant role, such as the Woman MP position. By exaggerating the importance of the NRM Chairperson role, which is a position with no salary and purely focused on party mobilization, she aims to sway public perception through sympathy and political manipulation.

“She intends to use the loss as a tool to claim that the Lumolos are taking everything, thus making her a victim,” the insider said. “She wants to rally sympathy and support from the local electorate by painting herself as the underdog.”

This strategy, according to the source, is part of a broader narrative to garner public favour and reposition herself for the Woman MP seat. While the NRM Chairperson role is one of sacrifice and grassroots organization, Hon. Nambozo’s real intention, as alleged, is to manipulate the narrative and secure a more influential position.

As the election approaches, it remains to be seen how this revelation will impact local dynamics and whether Hon. Nambozo’s strategy will play out as planned.
