The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of ICT Ms Aminah Zawedde has said she was pleased to deliver opening remarks at the Annual Sector Performance Review Retreat for the Digital Transformation Programme, organized by the Ministry of ICT.
The retreat brought together sector agencies and key partners to take stock of the programme’s achievements in the Financial Year 2024/25.
“As we close out NDPIII, the retreat provides a timely opportunity to reflect on the progress made, including expanding broadband connectivity, scaling up e-services, nurturing local ICT innovation, and creating digital job opportunities through BPO, among others,”Aminah Zawedde said.
“Working collaboratively with our agencies, partners, and stakeholders, we continue to lay a strong foundation for a smarter, more inclusive digital future under NDPIV,” she added. The retreat is underway.
