ICOA Convention: Hon David Bahati to share insights on enhancing East African Community’s global market competitiveness

The inaugural International Community of Ankole (ICOA) Investment and Trade Convention in Boston USA is gaining momentum with Uganda’s experienced politicians and businessman, Hon. David Bahati, set to grace the convention.

The convention will take place from October 11th to 14th 2024 at The Westin Copley Place, Boston, MA, USA.

The Honorable David Bahati’s support would not only demonstrate the Ugandan government’s commitment to enhancing the region’s economic competitiveness but also enable ICOA to showcase Uganda’s potential to a global audience.

As Uganda’s State Minister of Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives, Hon. David Bahati is dedicated to fostering economic growth and industrial development. At the 2024 ICOA Convention, Minister Bahati will share insights on enhancing the East African Community’s global trade competitiveness and the importance of cooperative movements in regional economic integration.

Mr. Julius Murinzi, President and CEO of ICOA said the convention comes at such a pivotal time for the East African Community.

“Our aim is to equip stakeholders with the necessary tools and knowledge to elevate their enterprises and economies globally. By sharing best practices and fostering collaboration, we seek to enhance the region’s competitiveness and drive sustainable growth,” he added.
