“I am recovering well from my family breakdown”- Eddy Kenzo
Fresh from family breakdown, singer Eddy Kenzo has today addressed a press conference at Mestil Hotel in Kampala to iron out a few things regarding his life.
The award winning artist said he has gone through a lot ever since his family started getting issues sometime back before it went public.
The ‘Sitya Loss’ singer is trying to terms with life after breaking up with his baby Rema Namakula who has gone on to introduce Dr. Hamza Sebunya as her new man.
He also used the presser to reveal that he has forgiven Sheikh Muzaata for the words he uttered against him at Rema’s ‘kukyala’
Eddy Kenzo also extended appreciation to his fans who welcomed him from Entebbe.
“If these many people can believe in me and come to welcome me then i must do my things in a right way,” he added.
The singer said he called Sheikh Muzaata when he started getting issues with Rema and Sheikh’s reply was “don’t worry, the family will be ok.
He said he was shocked to hear what the religious leader said at the kukyala.
The singer asked Allah to help him so that he forgives the sheikh, which he did.
“I have learnt very important things from these incidents that have happened in my life of recent,” Kenzo said.
On politics, the singer said he isn’t into politics and doesn’t belong to any political party.
He said he is not fighting the government but just wants a few things to be worked on.
“I am just a complainant like any other citizen but i am not fighting the government,” Kenzo said.
On meeting the president, the singer it was an opportunity that everyone wants.
“When i complained to the government on social media, the news reached President Museveni who then invited me to see how to help my career. I couldn’t resist the call from the head of state who was chosen by God to lead us and is still our president. I was honored to meet him and i think the photo of me with the president can inspire many young into doing the same,” Kenzo said.
On when he will fall in love again, the singer said he isn’t ready because he is still confused, not searching, heartbroken and pissed.
The singer said he still not safe from the mafias and asked government to give him security.
