Birungi Amber Grace has steadily emerged as one of Uganda’s most promising youth ambassadors, building a reputation beyond beauty pageantry through leadership, education and community engagement.
Her achievements include emerging as Miss High School Uganda 2024, becoming Miss Teen Pearl of Africa 1st Runner-Up 2025/2026, and currently serving as Miss Africa International Uganda 2025/2026.
The milestones have positioned her as a cultural ambassador using her platform to champion youth empowerment, women’s leadership, tourism promotion and environmental conservation.
Born on May 31, 2008, Birungi is currently a student of Taibah International School, where she continues to balance her academic journey with leadership, creativity and youth advocacy.
At school, she has earned admiration for her discipline, confidence and commitment to excellence, while also pursuing interests beyond the classroom, including swimming, reading and mentorship of fellow young people.
Away from the spotlight, Birungi has continued to demonstrate that beauty can exist alongside intelligence, discipline and responsibility.
Her dream is to pursue a Bachelor of Laws degree at Harvard University, driven by a desire to become a voice for justice and positive transformation.
“I want to become a voice for the voiceless and inspire young people to use education as a ladder to success,” she said.

“Every child carries unique potential. Parents should support their children’s dreams because talent, when guided well, can change lives,” she said.

During previous Mother’s Day celebrations, she described mothers as the “invisible crown of humanity,” recognising their sacrifices in raising families and shaping future generations.
