Fresh Dairy supports USSA Capacity Building Conference

In a bid to boost the recently signed Five (5) year contract with the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSA), Fresh Dairy offered support to USSA’s capacity building conference organized from 5th to 9th September at Kololo Secondary School.

The conference which was organized by USSA’s executive is part of the preparations aimed at laying groundwork and building capacity to among other matters effectively oversee the recently signed Five (5) year contract with Fresh Dairy worth 3 Billion, Eight Hundred Eighty-Five Million (3,885,000,000) Uganda Shillings.

Topics discussed during the Five (5) day seminar included governance, USSA’ development program, competition and strategic planning among others. The well attended conference was chaired by Justus Mugisha, President Federation of East African Secondary School Association (FEASSA), Okanya Patrick – President USSA as well as other members from Uganda’s sports fraternity.

Speaking during the handover of Fresh Dairy products to seminar participants, Vincent Omoth, Marketing Manager Fresh Dairy said that Fresh Dairy’s sponsorship offer to USSA is aimed at heightening Uganda’s secondary schools’ sports competitions that traverse the country, while encouraging youth to merge academia with sports.
