Frank Tumwebaze appreciates Uganda Tourism Board on Ankole Longhorn cattle

The Minister of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries who also doubles as Kibale East County in Kamwenge District MP, Hon. Frank Tumwebaze, has thanked the Management & board of Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) for supporting and complementing their efforts to highlight the beauty and unique attributes of the Ankole Cows to the traveling world as a great product at Emburara Farm Lodge in Mbarara. He said the Ankole Cows are elegant, friendly and humane.

The Ankole Cows of long horns are part of activities at Emburara Farm Lodge dubbed ‘On the Farm’ where visitors are allowed to get up close and personal with the lovely cows.

“The Ankole Cows elegant, friendly and humane. Love them they love u back. We don’t call them “Animals” but “Comrades” ( Bagyenzi beitu). Thank you Emburara team for the conservation of these beautiful creatures. I thank the Management & board of Uganda Tourism Board (UTB )for supporting and complementing our efforts to highlight the beauty and unique attributes of the Ankole Cows to the traveling world as a great product,” Frank Tumwebaze said.

The Uganda Tourism Board is headed by Ms Juliana Kagwa who is driving ‘Explore Uganda’ campaign to the world.
