Former Miss Uganda to set up Elite Academy for Makeup

Uganda’s former beauty queen Olga Nampima has vowed to change the makeup industry in Uganda for the best.

Confirmed info on our desk has it that the 1992 Miss Uganda, Olga Nampima is planning on opening up an Elite Academy for makeup Artistry in Kampala.

Olga Nampima will hold makeup workshop at Kampala Serena between 15-17th March this year

This comes when she is due to host a three-day Makeup workshop in Kampala from 15th to 17th march this year at Kampala Serena hotel. For those who love makeup, the cost of the workshop is Shs 300k per person.

Get ready for it this year

Olga Nampima has worked in the beauty industry in the UK for many years, her journey stretches back to college with an early exposure to visual Arts as she spent hours on end rendering portraits in graphite and later in oil stick and also studied SFX (special effects) for Tv and film at London college of Fashion. So setting up a makeup school won’t be a problem to her. Watch the space!!
