The first ever edition of Mbarara City Festival has been launched, we can confirm.
The Festival whose purpose is to celebrate Mbarara City status which was awarded two years ago will take place on 4th December.

Igongo, Deputy RCC launched the festival on Friday.
They were joined by Mbarara media fraternity and Speke Events at the launch.
“We shall be celebrating our culture, our City status. We want to have fun with our people,” Kakyebezi said.
“I was born here, grew up from here and this is the time to celebrate our status,” Seth Murari said.
