FINCA Uganda trains women in leadership development roles

In this month of August, FINCA Uganda has been deliberate on training women in leadership development roles within FINCA Uganda.

FINCA Uganda board directors Safiye Ozyugun and Deborah Drake took them through the final session which was impactful and powerful.

The training comprised of various components to empower the female leaders in decision making, strategic approach to change and adoption, leadership skills, self-awareness and belief plus governance.

This Women leadership program is designed to build that talent pipeline by helping rising women leaders be successful within the organization.

Women’s leadership programs give women the space to examine the real-world problems they encounter with the help and support of female peers, many of whom have faced similar challenges.

Networking, peer support, and accountability partners make this women’s leadership program especially profound.
