EALA strikes a whip against an acting clerk for incompetence

The East African Legislative Assembly moved a motion by Uganda’s Hon Fred Mukasa Mbidde to dismiss Mr Charles Ngeleja Kadonya.

According to inside sources, Kadonya is being dismissed because of the incompetence. Kadonya has been acting as the EALA senior clerk after he was appoint during the absence of substantive clerk. His dismissal is pending and only awaiting confirmation of the secretary general Dr Peter Mathuki.

Sources inside EALA continue to say that Kadonya who was made acting clerk was a research assistant and has no knowledge of administration according to the general observation of the community.

Kadonya’s position as acting senior clerk came after the contracts of Clerk Kenneth Madete and Alex Obtre the Deputy clerk. Instead of serving his role, it is said that Kadonya has been spreading rumours against the community ministers and the assembly to the media. Our source says that he (Kadonya) has been doing this while serving the interests of the DSG Mlote and the former SG Mfmukeko who were implicated by reports over corruption.

During her address recently, the New President of Tanzania H.E Samia Suruhu said that she has discovered technocrats that are fighting the East African community from within and because of that, she handled the matter by removing Kabudi form the EAC docket and replacing him with Hon Liberata Mulamula
