Dorothy Shonga’s call as she celebrates International Women’s Day
As a woman in Marketing and entrepreneurship, I am aware of the need for consistent improvement, for which innovation is the spark.
But, new technologies bring with them new issues that disproportionately affect women.
This year’s International Women’s Day provides as a blank slate on which to create a fresh future narrative. Clearly, our tomorrow will be digital, and it is crucial not to leave women and girls behind.

This year, our emphasis is on DigitALL: innovation and technology for gender equality. I commit to contributing to the following three calls out of the four under this year’s theme:
1.Remove obstacles preventing women from accessing the digital world.
3.Help women to develop technologies that fulfil their requirements.
4.Reduce gender-based online violence.
Lets create an equal digital future for all, improve quality of life and create opportunities for women and girls.
