Didas Kaginda to contest as an independent candidate in Ruhinda South MP seat

Forbes Enterprises Uganda Ltd Managing Director, Didas Byaruhanga Kaginda who recently lost in the NRM Primaries for Ruhinda South Constituency in Mitooma District has resolved to contest as an independent candidate in next year’s Parliamentary and general elections.

In a statement released last evening, Mr. Byaruhanga said the just concluded primaries were marred with some irregularities. He also said he did not have enough time to campaign since he entered the race very late.

He told this website, that as an independent candidate, he will have ample time to campaign and has the capacity to beat off competition from Hon. Dononzio Kahonda, NRM flag bearer. Below is his full statement which he released last evening;

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen i wholeheartedly thank you for your overwhelming support and prayers in the just concluded primaries,however I have noted with great concern that the just concluded elections were marred with some irregularities and another fact,is that I didnt have enough time to reach out to all the people in the constituency,therefore basing on the above reasons and given the fact that I will have enough time to campaign,The task force elect has decided that I contest as an independent candidate for Ruhinda South come 2021,So help me God,” Hon.BYARUHANGA DIDAS KAGINDA
