Deputy Speaker hails Swaminarayan Hindu religion for the good work
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has hailed Swaminarayan Hindu Religion as good for Uganda.

He said it is a good religion for a country like Uganda where the burden of Non-Communicable diseases is increasing rapidly especially since its teachings emphasise good eating, physical exercise and good health.

The Deputy Speaker said this while attending the occasion of the new placement of Swaminarayan Bhagwan at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Kampala yesterday.

“I attended the occasion of the new placement of Swaminarayan Bhagwan at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Kampala. I thank the eminent leaders of the Swaminarayan Hindu religion for the invitation & pay my utmost respect to Sadguru Viveksagardas Swami who prayed for & blessed me. The Swaminarayan Hindu religion is a unique one. It is a good religion for a Country like ours where the burden of Non-Communicable Diseases is increasing rapidly especially since it’s teachings emphasise good eating, physical exercise, and good health,” Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa said.
