The Greater Kampala structures (KMP) of Crime Preventers have received their presidential pledge.
The money received is part of the presidential pledge made in 2018 to keep their SACCOs active.
The 18 SACCOs of Crime Preventers received UGX 10m each.
Kampala Crime Preventers activated their structures recently to Support Security.
They were briefed on foundational security and their role in society as they participate in productive activities.
The meeting was also meant to introduce the new stake holder Operation Wealth Creation ( OWC).
The Crime Preventers Cooperative Union also introduced a new partner, Afriland First Bank that they will work with in capacitation drive of SACCOs.
The crime preventers Kampala chapter met yesterday at Club Obligatto Kampala to formulate way forward.
