CHICKEN TONIGHT ATTACKERS SHOCK COURT BY SHAMELESSLY DENYING EVER SETTING EYES ON, OR ASSAULTING ANGELLA KATATUMBA AT CHICKEN TONIGHT

Yesterday afternoon Thursday 15th August 2019, before the Magistrate at Makindye Court, His Worship Allan Gakyaro, the Chicken Tonight assaluters were brought to court to testify in their highly followed case against Singer and Philanthropist Angella Katatumba and her music colleague Oneil Burke also known as Kuzi Kz.

It was all shock and laughs during this court session when all the accused Olubwoth Choka Rogers, Kaddu John and Okirwoth Denis shamelessly denied ever setting their eyes on, or touching both Angella Katatumba and Kuzi on the said day of the assault.

The three also stated that at the time of the publicly viewed CCTV footage that went viral of Angella Katatumba and Kuzi being assaulted by them, they were all at their homes in bed sleeping. More shockingly, they denied their statements that they made at Kabalagala Police station in relation to their charges the day they were arrested.

Their defence testimonies were completely in contradiction with each other, with some saying they were arrested and taken straight to court, others saying they passed outside Kabalagala police station not entering inside, others saying they were taken inside the police station to only sit down.

The accused all strongly denied their recorded statements, they denied their own signatures which happened to match the signatures on their bail forms and when asked to sign in court, they signed in the exact same way.

The three simply used the deny absolutely everything strategy. The Magistrate kept on reminding them that they were under oath, but the three failed to heed his warnings and continued to deny absolutely everything put to them regarding the day they were accused on April 1st 2018.

Their deny everything strategy seems to undoubtedly put Chicken Tonight in absolute loss in this very serious, public and highly followed case.

It is public knowledge that on the 1st of April, 2018 the above mentioned employees with Chicken Tonight Kabalagala Branch, did grevious harm to the popular singer when she had gone to their restaurant to buy late night snacks with her music colleague Kuzi.

The next date of hearing for the defence has been fixed for 13th September 2019 at 11am.
