‘Cabinet has not received or discussed policy regarding pastors’ – Frank Tumwebaze

The Minister of ICT and National Guidance who also doubles as Spokesperson of Cabinet Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has refuted allegations that the cabinet has received and discussed policy on regulating activities of born again churches and their pastors.
The minister tweeted that there is no policy to protest over after reports that pastors were planning a protest over cabinet decision.

“There is no policy to protest over. For any idea to be policy, it must be presented, discussed & passed in cabinet. For it to pass, stake holder buy-in must be complied with. So men & women of God lose no sleep over this. Cabinet has not received, discussed/passed the said policy,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
