Cases of armed robberies have been on a rampage in the recent past.
The most recent case happened along the Entebbe Express way when armed robbers hijacked a vehicle in the middle of the night.
The car was hijacked by firing live bullets at the occupants.
One person who is yet to be identified survived the attack but unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle, Mr Oloyi Benard died on spot.
The robbers are said to habe fled away with property including minerals of yet to be established value.
The survivor is currently receiving treatment under tight watch of authorities.
