Angella Katatumba shining like never before
Singer Angella Katatumba defines the tagline A FORCE TO RECKON WITH and she has proved it over again, not only by the way she was welcomed and embraced even after the Chicken Tonight scandal where she and Jamaican star Kuzi Kz were assaulted at Chicken Tonight, but also by the way she still continues to be received with a lot of respect and warmth wherever she goes.
Recently, our snoops landed into Katatumba at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala where she was in the company of her also famous twin brother Rugiirwa Katatumba.
Surprisingly, Angella the former Acting Consulate of Pakistan in Uganda, had been invited in her own capacity by the Italian Ambassador for a cocktail meeting, of the cooperation between the Italian Embassy and the Uganda Police.
In attendance at the intimate cocktail, to name but a few were the; Italian Ambassador, American Ambassador, Cuban Ambassador, Rwandan Ambassador and the Minister of Tourism Hon. Ephrahim Kamuntu, who all very warmly received and embraced the Katatumbas. They kept chatting and laughing with each other as great friends do.
Angella has always been considered to be an inspirational woman in Africa and continues to be one. Speaking of being an inspirational woman, in 2018, news came in from the headquarters of the International African Women’s Development Fund in Accra Ghana, and it was confirmed that Angella Katatumba was ranked among the top 13 most inspirational women in Africa, making her rub shoulders with Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Abena Amoah, Anna Mokgokong, Beverly Nambozo, Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi, Bingo Sibongile Mkhabela, Folorunso Alakija, Lina Zedriga, Sasae Mpuchane, Nabagereka Sylivia Naginda, Princess Umul Hatiyya Ibrahim Mahama and Sitawa Wafula.
Angella also the Managing Director of Hotel Diplomate, has consistently kept her music and humanitarian work successful and active by changing the welfare of natives lives in Uganda and across the continent. She indeed deserved this great recognition and many more.
As for now, sources close to the sexy ‘Out Of My Head’ singer, confirmed she is now busy with court cases against Mukesh Shukla aka Shumuk over her late father’s million dollar properties, where in 2014 Shumuk lost the case and was ordered to pay the late H.E Prof. Boney Mwebesa Katatumba a whopping 54BN.
Shumuk appealed and the case is now at the Court of Appeal awaiting a date. At the same time, Angella is also pursuing the recent Chicken Tonight case where she is demanding 1 Billion UGX compensation.
