Angella Katatumba not about to give up on Shumuk

He was caught again uttering false documents

Documented evidence has shockingly come to our attention of Mukesh Shukla aka Shumuk who clearly forged documents in another attempt to steal the Katatumba’s properties.

In this embarrassingly, cheap, desperate particular forgery, Shumuk claims that on the 17th of April, 2015 before H.E Prof. Boney Mwebesa Katatumba passed, he suddenly had a change of heart after publicly winning the famous Katatumba Suites, Hotel Diplomate and other properties cases against Shumuk in the Commercial Court in November 2014, in a 103 page ruling by Justice Peter Henry Adonyo.

After that famous win of H.E Katatumba kneeling down and putting his hands in the air to thank God, one wonders how and why on earth he would now change his mind according to Shumuk, to drag his family members (Anne Grace Katatumba, Angella Katatumba, Rugiirwa Katatumba and Ian Katatumba) to the Chief Justice His Lordship Bart Katureebe’s office and in front of his Officer in charge of Security and agree to sign over Hotel Diplomate to Shumuk.

Shumuk shockingly forged a document with all their signatures claiming that H.E Katatumba, his family and the Chief Justice finally agreed to hand Hotel Diplomate over to him.

Shumuk then tried to use his forgery to get vacant possession of Hotel Diplomate and was badly beaten in court by Angella and Rugiirwa Katatumba.

After his miserable loss at Makindye court, he bitterly wrote and complained to the Chief Justice implying that Angella was in bed with the Chief Justice hence the Katatumbas’ win in court.

Shumuk’s pathetic claims caused the Chief Justice to reply to his ridiculous accusations making the Chief Justice further deny Shumuk’s forgery, and clearly state that such a meeting of the so-called hand over of Hotel Diplomate never, ever happened.

The infuriated Chief Justice further instructed the inspector of Court to work with the CIID/Police to find the origin of the document and bring the culprit to book and be dealt with in accordance with the law.

The Chief Justice further made the following aware of the false document that had been uttered by Shumuk;

The copied persons were; The Principle Judge, The Director of Public Prosecution, Ms. Grace Akullo – Director, CIID, The Chief Registrar, The Inspectorate Of Courts, The Chief Magistrate – Makindye Court, The State House – Legal Department, The Administrator of the Late Boney Katatumba and Tusasirwe & Co. Advocates.

When we further contacted Angella Katatumba to clarity on this forgery, she also vehemently denied ever signing such a document and said neither did her Father nor any of her family members sign such a document in the Chief Justice’s office, and never would her Father have made such an insane decision.

Angella also said that she had received the forgery and opened a criminal case against Shumuk at Kibuli Police that is being handled by Ms. Grace Akullo herself, the Director CIID.

Angella further clarified that it is the Katatumba’s in possession of Hotel Diplomate and are waiting for the date of the Appeal that Shumuk asked for, after he was beaten by H.E Katatumba in the Commercial Court in November 2014, where Shumuk amongst other things, was ordered to pay the Katatumba’s $13 Million dollars USD which to date, he has failed to do. So the Katatumba’s are waiting for the Appeal date to take over the Katatumba Suites from Shumuk. It’s becoming clear that Katatumba’s kids will soon be the latest billionaires in Uganda.
