Africell supports David Lutalo’s “Onsaanuula” album launch

David Lutalo is finally set to launch his top selling ‘Onsaanula’ song for his fans. The prestigious HiPipo Music Awards winner for Artiste of the Year and Best Male Artiste in 2016 is set to launch his latest Album titled Onsaanuula Album come 27th January 2017 at Hotel Africana.

Onsaanuula album Launch which is being sponsored by Africell Uganda includes songs such as Onsaanuula, Kwasa, Sabulula, and Yamanyi among others.

Unlike all the artists, David Lutalo has been holding his concerts in January for the past three consecutive years and have all been registered a success despite the criticism.

Africell’s Commercial Director Milad Khairallah said the brand will continue to sponsor leading artistes who are good models for the community. “We believe in supporting artistes that are using music to get people together. David Lutalo is an impressive musician who is going places. We are proud to work with him”

David Lutalo is also nominated in several HiPipo Music Awards 2017 – #HMA2017 categories including Artiste of the year, Best Male Artiste, Best band Song and Best Folk song

David Lutalo is rated as one of Uganda’s most talented vocalists. The talented artist burst on the Ugandan music scene with his satirical single ‘Kapapaala’ in 2008. With his distinctive voice and enchanting music style, Lutalo is a favourite of many Ugandan music fans leading him to be rated in some circles as the unofficial Ugandan male musician of the year in 2017.

It is this popularity that saw giant telecom sign on Lutalo at the start of last year as a brand ambassador, a role he played confidently leading endearing fans to Africell.

Rated as one of Uganda’s most talented vocalists, Lutalo burst on the Ugandan music scene with his satirical single ‘Kapapaala’ in 2008. Ugandan music fans love him for his distinctive voice, which has made him a favorite among rural and urban Ugandans in equal measure, leading him to be rated in some circles as the unofficial Ugandan musician of the year in 2014.

Lutalo has also previously collaborated with various artists, including Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool and the Good Lyfe crew (Radio & Weasel).

During his album launch, Lutalo will be joined by various artists including Sheebah Karungi among others. David Lutalo has won the hearts of many Ugandans and no doubt his show will be a success.
