Renown events promoter Abbey Musinguzi famously known as Abitex has accused musicians of mistreating promoters.
He said that most of them don’t actually see promoters like they are also people, all they do is take them for fools.
Abitex has always fought for the rights of promoters. The last time he was in the media for those reasons, he went to Gulu to meet Gen Salim Saleh and he got money.
According to the promoter, musicians have been at their worst behavior and have made promoters get into losses and even lose some money.
He said that it’s time for the government to pay on their behalf so that they can get their life together and leave being in debts all the time.
“We are tired of how musicians treat us. We want money, nothing else. Most promoters are in debt from organizing events,” says event promoter Abex.
