This past weekend, Chefs Versus returned with a spectacular 6th edition held at the stunning Ihunde Resort on Bulago Island.
The exclusive event took place on December 7th, attracting food lovers and revelers eager to witness an epic culinary showdown between Chef Mark of Yujo Izakaya and Chef Wasan of Tamarai.

Attendees embarked from Munyonyo at midday aboard a party boat filled with vibrant energy, courtesy of exquisite cocktails and tunes from DJ Bryan and DJ Anselm. The fun-filled journey set the tone for a delicious afternoon.

At Ihunde Resort, both chefs presented meticulously crafted three-course meals reflecting their cultural roots: Japanese and Thai cuisine. Guests indulged in mouth-watering dishes before casting their votes.

Ultimately, Chef Wasan triumphed and received a cash prize of one million shillings, while Chef Mark took home five hundred thousand shillings.

The event’s dynamic MC, Tracy Ikopit, effortlessly engaged the audience with insightful commentary on the nuances of Japanese and Thai gastronomy.
