Official Total COVID-19 cases in Uganda now stand at 145

The Ministry of Health has on 20 May 2020 confirm 10 new COVID-19 cases. 9 new cases are truck drivers while 1 case is a contact to a confirmed truck driver.

Following a Presidential Directive of deducting all foreign truck drivers from Uganda’s case count, the confirmed COVID-19 cases now stand at 145.

11 foreign truck drivers handed over to their country of origin.

Total Foreign truck drivers handed over to their country of origin since Presidential directive: 124.
Truck Drivers tested today: 1,264

community samples tested: 233

Total samples tested today: 1,497
