The management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) sincerely apologises to its customers that water supply to parts of Bugolobi, Lugogo By-pass, Baskerville Road, parts of Mackenzie Vale and the surrounding areas has been interrupted.
This follows damage to a high-level water main caused by ongoing construction works opposite the Isuzu Service Centre along Old Portbell Road.
Our teams are already on site assessing the situation and carrying out the necessary repairs.
What we are doing to support you.
We have extended the Katosi system to reinforce the 6-inch line in Bugolobi, helping maintain supply to Kiswa Health Centre and parts of Mbuya.
We have also extended the Naguru sub-system to support the Lugogo By-pass service area.
Dewatering is currently underway so that repairs to the damaged pipe section can proceed safely.
Expected restoration time: within 8 hours.
Please use any water you have available as carefully as possible, prioritising essential needs.
