Makindye East KCCA Councillor Mr. Mosh Ssendi together with other local leaders in the area, Lord Mayor and KCCA Management embarked on clearing a long-standing garbage hill in Kasanvu – Kisugu parish in Makindye, Kampala.
Ssendi said with over 15 garbage trucks, they hope to clear the area in two weeks and thereafter embark on fresh plans to collect waste straight from people’s homes every Saturday.
The moves aims at keeping Makindye totally clean and free from littering rubbish everywhere in the area. This is how Ssendi has started his next 5-year term in high gear. Watch the space!!!
