Senior NRM mobilser in Kiryandongo District and former Kibanda North County MP contestant, Hon. Likambo Bahti Taylor, has described the loss of around 23 victims in Kagadi District boat accident as a great loss to Bunyoro Region and the entire country.
The accident occured on River Nguse in Kagadi District as the boat carrying Charcoal Burners returning home from Bungoma Forest capsized.
Hon Likambo has sent his deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims and the entire country.
He described it as a big loss to Bunyoro region and the entire country to lose such a big number of the hustlers.
He called on the boat owners to avoid overloading and urged them to travel at an appropriate time and avoid the bad weather situation.
He called on the people of Kagadi District to be strong as he prepares to send his support to the affected families.
