2026 Updates: This is Part II of MPs currently in 11th Parliament who are likely to win another term

As you 2026 gets closer, we give you part II of Members of Parliament in the 11th Parliament who deserve another term in 2026. Here they are;

Denis Hamson Obua
He is the Member of Parliament of Ajuri County in Alebtong District. He doubles as the Government Chief Whip. He is always monitoring service delivery by the government in the constituency.

He has also donated hoes, seeds and been instrumental in supporting education, health, religion, roads and is always in touch with his people.

Zaake Francis
He is the MP of Mityana Municipality. He has been instrumental in enforcing service delivery and pressuring government to provide for his people. He is also a present figure in his constituency and has been supporting his people on several occasions.

Lukyamuzi David Kalwanga
He is the MP for Busujju County in Mityana district and a very active and able leader. He has always followed up service delivery in the area. Hon. Lukyamuzi is always in the constituency to check on how people are fairing.

 

Joyce Bagala
The Mityana District Woman MP is set to bounce back in 2026. She has sacrificed a lot and passed through grievances in enforcing government authorities on provision of good services to the people of Mityana and the people are saying 2026 we are still with her.

Kahonda Dononzio
He is on course for the third term in a row after excellent services. He has so far delivered as per his mandate. He has been instrumental in supporting education, health, electricity, roads and supporting locals on saving schemes.

Avako Melissa Naima Gule
She is the Woman Member of Parliament Yumbe District. She has been representing the views of her people as well as supporting them in all the sectors. Because of being a willing leader, the people of Yumbe think she deserves another term come 2026.

Akech Janet Okorimoe
She is the Woman Member of Parliament for Abim District. She has been at the forefront for good and timely service delivery in the district. She has been instrumental in supporting different sectors like education, health, religion, roads, water, electricity, Youth and Women Groups in the district.

Hellen Adoa
She is the Serere District Woman MP and has been a present figure when needed in her district. She has been instrumental in supporting education, women, orphans and Widows as well as other sectors in the district. She is also the Minister of Fisheries.

Kinobere Herbert
He is the Member of Parliament for Kibuku Constituency in Kibuku District and he surely deserves another term. He is the Deputy Government Chief Whip and vice chairman NRM Parliamentary Caucus.

He has so far offered over 100 bursaries to medical students in Kibuku constituency, bought two ambulances and lobbied the one for his people, and helped to train women in various practical skills like tailoring among others. He is always with the people in days happiness and difficulties. He has a number of personal projects for the constituency on top of government programmes. Other achievements include; Donation of beds in all the health centres, books for the sick, training referees to promote sports, supported religious activities to mention and many others.

Theodore Ssekikubo
He is the MP for Lwemiyaga County in Sembabule District and will surely come back due to his colourful performance. He has also promoted education by constructing schools and health by building hospitals in his constituency. He is also vocal in the Parliament.

John Baptist Nambeshe
He is the MP for Manjiya County in Bududa District. Very active leader on the ground and very supportive to his people. He is loved and will surely bounce back in 2026.

Gerrard Nangoli
He is the MP for Elgon North County in Bulambuli District. He has lobbied for a road from Bulambuli Lower to Bulambuli Upper hence easing movements of goods. He has also been supporting projects in different sectors in the area.

Jacob Oboth Oboth
He is the MP for West Budama Central in Tororo District. Budama now has clear roads, electricity, health, education and Town council among others. He has been instrumental in building all those.

Kiiza Acrobat Moses
He is the MP of Bughendera County in Bundibugyo and his constituents think he deserves going back in 12th parliament because of his commitment in the constituency.

The constituency now has good roads, bought an ambulance, lobbied for another ambulance from the Ministry of Health and he constructed two CD schools.

Jonathan Odur
He is the MP for Erute South in Lira District. He deserves another term because he always come back to the people to check on how they are progressing. He has sponsored children whose parents can not afford school fees to school, always stands with the sick, needy and makes sure there is peace in his constituency and so much more.

He also supported farmers with hoes, the roads are now good because of him and he is currently purchasing land in Awiodyek sub county to construct a secondary school which no any other leader thought of doing. He is indeed a great leader.

Katushabe Godfrey Atikns
He is the MP for Busongora East in Kasese District and he is likely to come again in 2026. Hon Katushabe takes his time and visits most of the government health centers and checks if there are drugs in the stores.

He made a campaign of renovating the gravity water scheme of Bwera from Kasanga Hills to Bwera Town and renovation some of the feeder roads in Kinyamaseke, Katwe, Kabatooro and Mpondwe lhubiriha. He has inspired most learners to speak very good English in the constituency because they all like how he speaks.

Afoyocan Esther 
She is the Woman MP Zombo District and she is likely to bounce back come 2026. She is really doing a lot for the people in many aspects most especially education through helping the needy children get education by paying their school fees.

She has made sure all mothers in all health centers go back home with at least a basin and a bar of soap plus many more. She really deserves another term in Parliament.

Eddie Kwizera
He is the MP for Bukimbiri County in Kisoro District. He has been instrumental in infrastructure development especially roads in his constituency and has opened up new roads in the whole constituency. He has also helped in building schools, Churches, hospitals and others. He is also a good presenter in Parliament.

Henry Zinkuratiire
He is the MP for Ruhaama County in Ntungamo District. Hon. Henry has so far been aiming at household income improvement in his constituency Ruhaama.

He has also been an instrumental figure in supporting education, health, religion and other forms of infrastructure like roads in the area. He is well fitted to return for another term.

Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke
She is the Woman Member of Parliament for Kisoro District. She will also bounce back. She doubles as State Minister for Defence.

Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda
He is the legislator of Kira Municipality, Wakiso District. He is known of bringing corruption and other financial mismanagement light. He is on ground and strongly believed by the majority of Ugandans though he represents Kira Municipality in the 11th parliament. He is strongly favorite to return to the 12th Parliament.
