2026 Updates: NUP’s Muthoma Robert wants to take Kasese Municipality to the next level

Mr. Muthoma Robert has declared his wish to represent the people of Kasese Municipality in the 12th Parliament come 2026.

The National Unity Platform (NUP) member is aspiring to contest for the 2026-2031 parliamentary seat for Kasese municipality and is already doing well on the ground.

He plans to improve the education sector within Kasese Municipality, Youth and Family livelihood programs, Mitigating the gap between the youth and elderly, access to financial institutions and mediating the disastrous climate changes among others. He also wants to see improved and easy access to health services in the Municipality.

The 30-year old lives in Kogere cell, Rukooki ward, Nyamwamba Division, Kasese Municipality. He is a Lawyer and political activist.

He did his UCE at Trinity Vocation Secondary School, UACE at King Jesus College Mubuku then proceeded to Uganda Pentecostal University for Diploma of Law then upgraded Bachelor of Laws (Hons LLB) at the same university.

He attended Law Development Centre (LDC) for a Post Graduate Diploma (Bar Course).

Then at Bishop Stuart University Mbarara for a Masters of Laws (student).

He is currently working with Kanyonyi and Co Advocates.

He is also the Director for Asinja Development Foundation-Uganda that majorly engages the less privileged people in skills training and family livelihood programs.

He is a Member of more than 5 development associations within Kasese District.

He is surely fit enough to drive forward development in Kasese Municipality.
